Emergency Response in Action: Battling the Extreme Rainstorm in Shenyang

On July 13, 2026, Shenyang was hit by a catastrophic rainstorm, the most severe in its history, prompting a city-wide Level I flood emergency alert. The extreme weather, caused by the combined forces of Typhoon "Bavi" and a persistent northeast cold vortex, caused the Hunhe River to overflow its banks. Numerous residential communities were submerged in deep water, resulting in simultaneous power and water supply cuts that severely impacted the lives of local residents. 

In the hardest-hit residential areas, where floodwaters reached depths of up to one meter, the Lehui Emergency Support Team swiftly deployed into multiple task forces. They simultaneously launched drainage and power restoration operations across critical disaster zones, including 4 substations and 8 residential communities.

No two sites were the same, and Lehui adapted to every challenge. In wide-open flood zones, powerful pumps roared to life, pushing back the rising water at full speed. In the tight confines of flooded basements and underground garages, our teams maneuvered specialized equipment deep into the darkness, ensuring every drop of water was drawn out.

Through day and night, the machines never stopped — and neither did we. With crews working in relentless rotation, we kept the operation alive, creating the vital window needed to repair critical infrastructure and bring life back to the communities we serve.

Beyond the frontlines of flood-fighting, another critical mission was underway. In neighborhoods where water had begun to recede, Lehui teams swiftly set up mobile charging hubs, offering residents a lifeline to the outside world — a place to power their phones, reconnect with loved ones, and restore a semblance of normalcy in the chaos.

The storm raged, but it could never wash away the courage of communities standing together. The waters rose, but they could never drown the compassion that bound neighbor to neighbor. Through it all, Lehui stood firm — powered by purpose, driven by duty, and guided by a single mission: to deliver the greatest possible impact when society needs it most.

The storm has passed. But for the Lehui Emergency Support Team, the mission never ends. We remain on standby — vigilant, prepared, and ready to answer the call, wherever and whenever it comes.
